It’s a rare and special occasion when we get to opportunity to serve one of our personal friends. This situation was one of those, and we were so thrilled when our dear friend, Whitney, asked us to coordinate her wedding. Whitney was one of the first people we met at our church in Austin, and she lead us along with a large group of people to the Dominican Republic for our first mission trip as a couple there. Since then we have led multiple teams down to the Dominican Republic to serve others in need and share the gospel, and Whitney was a huge part of that journey with us.

Whitney met Stephen through our church as well, and I still remember the first time she told me about him. She literally had sparkling eyes. I couldn’t have been happier for her when I found out he was the one for her. When I think of Whitney & Stephen, I think about the way she looks up at him, with those sparkly eyes, with such admiration, respect and love. Then you look at Stephen, and he looks down at her and the smile on his face is unexplainable. You will just have to look at the photos below to see what I mean. There is no doubt that this couple is good match for one another, and we are so thankful they allowed us to be a part of their love story.
