Cathleen and Christoper wanted a simple and elegant rehearsal dinner that took place at Tankersley Gardens on a beautiful summer day in the piney woods of Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

Sunflowers are a wonderful and cost effective way to express the natural beauty of summer, the luminosity, warmth and symbolic rays of the sun, and because they always bring joy and enthusiasm to any event. Sunflower types are great for a simple, elegant, modern, lavish and stylish centerpieces because of their big, flat and fluorescent blooms. The bright rich yellow petals match perfectly with the brown center of the sunflower and it can be used to create a very sophisticated, assorted and adorable color-scheme for the event. Black and white with hints of bright yellow color scheme is more than inspiring for a rustic rehearsal dinner décor.

The bride and groom’s table was adorned with handmade signs by Crissalane to make their chairs looks extra special and festive.

Putting a sign-in table at the entrance is a nice way to welcome guests, while giving them an opportunity to sign the guest book and wish the bride and groom well wishes.

Miniature goldfish played in the fish bowl, a fun surprise for guests to enjoy.

Crissalane and Johnny kept multiple metal buckets fully stocked with ice and beverages throughout the night in various locations in the room.

The crystal chandelier above the buffet table offered beautiful lighting when guests arrived after the sun had set.

The room sparkled during the summer night with tea lights glowing in glass votives throughout the room.

In keeping with the color scheme, Cathleen and Christopher wrapped the gifts to their bridal party in black, white and yellow paper, adding decoration and color to the room.
